1. Scope and overview
This policy explains how the current Tape Mark Android calculator handles information. Tape Mark calculates and saves information locally on your device. You do not need an account, and the app has no advertisements, analytics tracking or automatic upload of your profile or calculations to us. It does not use an AI service.
Local processing still involves data: the app stores the information described below to provide its features. You choose when to copy or share a result. This policy distinguishes that local processing from any separate information received through support or distribution channels.
2. Information handled on your device

History searches and filters operate locally in memory; the app does not keep a separate persistent search log. Profile fields can be saved as you edit them during onboarding; you can skip the profile or delete it later. The app does not request your email, payment information, contacts, location, photos or microphone input for calculator use. It does not read your general clipboard contents.
3. Storage and security
Profile, preferences, setup progress, draft and calculation History are stored in the app's local SQLite database on your device. We do not operate a server copy or cloud synchronization/recovery service for this information. The app uses local validation and transactional storage for its records.
The app relies on device and operating-system protections. It does not provide its own password/biometric lock or an additional app-level encrypted database. Someone who can access the app on your device may be able to view its information. No storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Tape Mark is configured to disable Android's automatic app backup. Device-manufacturer transfer or other device-level behavior may vary. The app itself provides no manual file backup or restore. Resetting, uninstalling, device loss or storage failure may remove information that we cannot recover.
4. Copying, sharing and third parties
When you tap Copy, Tape Mark writes the selected calculation's text to the system clipboard. When you tap Share, it passes that text to the system sharing interface so you can choose a destination. The text includes the expression and units, exact result, applicable rounded value and precision/mode, and rounding difference when relevant. These action-generated messages do not include your profile, calculation label, record identifier or timestamps.
Clipboard features, including any enabled clipboard synchronization, and the apps or recipients you choose may store or transmit that text under their own policies. Tape Mark does not control those copies or remove them when you clear app data. Separately copying selectable text or sending a screenshot may disclose whatever you select or capture.
The current app has no advertising or analytics integration and does not sell local profile or calculation information or share it for targeted advertising. Its local storage/UI SDKs are not configured to upload your profile or calculations to their vendors. Your operating system, app distributor and chosen sharing destinations may separately process information under their own policies.

5. How long information stays and your controls
- Optional profile: kept locally until you edit it, delete it or reset all local data. In Settings, open the local-profile icon to edit fields or choose Delete local profile. This clears name, age and use-case preference while keeping calculations and settings. It does not remove text you independently entered into a calculation label.
- History: the app keeps up to 100 unpinned calculations ordered by recent activity. Older unpinned records are automatically pruned as that limit is exceeded. Pinned records are excluded from this automatic pruning and have no configured time limit. Unpinning or using Undo makes a record recent again.
- Individual deletion: open a calculation's details and choose Delete calculation. A temporary Undo option retains the original record in memory. The usual minimum is 10 seconds, extended for accessibility; a failed Undo can retain the record for a retry while the session remains available. Bulk clear/reset invalidates pending Undo actions.
- Clear history: Settings → Clear history deletes unpinned records by default; select Include pinned calculations to delete those too. It preserves your current draft, profile and preferences. It also preserves internal save-receipt IDs used to prevent duplicate saves. The current draft may still contain the same expression as a deleted History record.
- Draft and setup: preferences, onboarding state and the current draft have no fixed time-based expiry. Editing or clearing the calculator replaces its current draft; an abrupt shutdown can lose a recent unsaved change. Internal save-receipt IDs have no timed expiry.
- Reset everything stored by the app: Settings → Reset all local data deletes saved calculations including pins, the draft, profile, preferences, onboarding progress and internal save-receipt IDs, and returns to Welcome. Device settings may also offer app-data removal or uninstall controls.
These app controls perform logical deletion of stored records, not a guaranteed forensic overwrite of device storage or memory. They do not erase clipboard contents, copies held by another app/recipient or any separate support correspondence. Clearing History and resetting all local data cannot be undone through the app.
You can view saved calculations and copy/share an individual calculation as text. There is no complete file export, backup/import or online account-data download tool in this version.

You can contact vericode2308@gmail.com with questions about this policy or applicable privacy rights. We cannot remotely inspect, retrieve or delete your local database; the controls above operate on your device. You do not need to send us your measurements to use those controls.

7. Audience and children

The optional age field is stored locally and does not verify age or enforce an eligibility threshold. A profile is not required to calculate. The app does not implement a parental-consent process.
