1. These terms and your use

These Terms govern your use of the Tape Mark Android application provided by Veri Code (“we,” “us”). They describe the current free, offline calculator.

2. Eligibility and local profile

You do not need an account or sign-in. The optional local profile is for information you choose to keep on your device; its name, age and use-case fields are not identity or age verification. You may skip the profile and still calculate. Anyone who can access the app on your device may be able to view its saved information; the app has no separate password or biometric lock.

3. What Tape Mark provides

Tape Mark performs fraction and decimal calculations, converts between inches, feet and inches, millimetres and centimetres, displays exact and rounded results, and shows an illustrative imperial tape. You can save calculations locally, search and filter History, pin or label records, reuse calculations and copy or share individual results as text. It does not provide accounts, cloud synchronization, file backup or restore.

The current version is free and has no subscription, in-app purchases or advertisements. These Terms do not authorize any charge or automatic renewal.

The calculator applies programmed arithmetic rules on your device; it does not use an AI service. “Exact” describes the arithmetic result from your entered values. It does not establish that the measurements you entered are accurate. Decimal displays may be approximate, and rounded tape values intentionally differ from exact results. Check the input, units, selected rounding mode and precision before using an answer.

The tape is a diagram, not a calibrated ruler for measuring objects against your screen. The app is a calculation aid, not a structural, engineering or safety certification. Independently verify measurements with suitable tools and obtain qualified advice where your work requires it.

The app rejects unsupported operations and oversized inputs. Current limits include 256 expression tokens, 128 characters per numeric literal, and 512 digits per normalized rational numerator or denominator. Calculation labels and profile names are limited to 80 characters. These are technical limits, not usage fees or daily calculation quotas.

4. Your information and saved calculations

You retain any rights you have in information you enter and calculations you save or share. We do not claim ownership of that information or require a license to publish it, advertise with it or train AI on it. Information entered in the app is processed locally to provide the features you use; it is not posted to a public Tape Mark service.

History retains up to 100 unpinned calculations, ordered by recent activity, plus pinned calculations kept separately. Older unpinned records are automatically removed as newer activity exceeds that limit. Unpinning or restoring a deleted record through Undo makes it recent. Pinning is not a backup guarantee.

Deleting a History record offers a temporary Undo option. Clearing History can include pinned records if you select that option; it keeps your profile, preferences and current draft. Reset all local data removes calculations, the draft, profile, preferences, onboarding progress and internal calculation-save identifiers. Deleting your local profile alone keeps calculations and preferences. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Storage failures, resetting, uninstalling or losing access to your device may cause data loss. The app may allow an explicitly unsaved session when storage is unavailable. Recent changes may not survive an abrupt shutdown. There is no cloud recovery or full-file backup/export feature; keep any important measurements separately using the available individual text-copy/share functions or another method of your choosing.

5. App rights and lawful use

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, Veri Code grants you a non-exclusive license to install and use Tape Mark. Rights in the app's software, design and branding remain with their respective owners, except for rights granted to you or supplied under applicable third-party licenses. These Terms do not override those licenses or exceptions provided by law.

Use the app and any sharing destination lawfully, and respect other people's rights when entering or sharing information. Tape Mark does not operate a public content-hosting or moderation service. It does not monitor your local calculations for compliance with these Terms.

6. Clipboard, sharing and other providers

Copy places calculation text on the device clipboard. Share passes calculation text to the system sharing interface so you can choose a destination. Other applications, operating-system features and any distributor you use are governed by their own applicable terms and policies. They may require connectivity even though Tape Mark calculates offline.

You decide what to share and with whom. Tape Mark cannot retrieve or erase copies held by a recipient, another app or a clipboard service. Opening the sharing interface does not guarantee delivery.

7. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional promises that it will be error-free, continuously available or suitable for every intended purpose. We do not guarantee the accuracy of your inputs, fitness of a calculated measurement for a particular physical task, or recovery of lost local data. Any implied warranties are excluded only to the extent the law permits.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable mandatory consumer protections.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Tape Mark at any time. There is no account to close or subscription to cancel. If you want to remove saved app information, use Reset all local data; you can also use your device's app-data removal or uninstall controls. Those actions do not delete copies previously shared elsewhere. The app does not provide a remote account-suspension or remote data-deletion service.

9. Changes to these Terms

The current Terms will be available at [TERMS URL], with their effective date. 10. Governing law and contact
